My name is Chris Monaccio and I currently wear many hats. I provide a range of services including website design, print design, branding and identity, motion graphics, and digital artwork. I enjoy creating standards compliant, quality websites that enhance the user experience while meeting the goals of clients. As far as my personal life goes, I am usually found studying or watching reruns of The Simpsons on DVD. I enjoy learning about my field and practicing my work. My hobbies include fixing things, photography, comic books, video games, and reading. I like problems that challenge me and force me outside my comfort zone.

I have a wonderful cat named Fran who jumped in my window and never left.

Also, I am, admittedly, hopelessly addicted to candy, with a particular lust for chocolate.

Axiom Inc.3d/Web/Graphic Designer07/2007-Current: The sole Graphic Artist for Axiom Inc., a woman-owned small business working various proposal efforts under subcontract to a Large Systems Integrator including the $27M Saudi Aramco Access Control Program and the $650M Naval Anti-Terrorism Ashore Program. Under direct supervision of the COO and CTA, performed all graphics related tasks including brand/logo design, business graphic production, presentation asset and them design, and illustration.
Bottom Floor StudiosGraphic DesignerFreelance (Current): Contracted by a founding partner to create the brand identity and logo design for Bottom Floor Studios, a fledgling film studio based in northern Viriginia. Also created a professional title sequence for a documentary using Adobe After Effects.
DEI Services Corp.3d/Graphic Artist08/2006-05/2007: Tasked with 3d and graphic asset creation as part of the Interactive Courseware team at DEI Services Corp., a central Florida DOD contractor. Duties included 3d modeling and animation, compositing, and asset creation for use in courseware products supplied to the US Army, as well as the team's marketing material design.
China Chef RestaurantWeb/Graphic DesignerFreelance: Approached by the owner of a successful restaurant to create a web presence, including website development, online promotions, and hosting solutions, to reach out to customers via the web.
