What up Virginia? How’s you doin’? Yes folks, I’m back home, in lovely northern Virginia. I want to say it’s great to be home, but it’s not. Now, don’t get me wrong, I like being back, but I’m not exactly in the best situation I could be in at the moment. I have unfortunately become the stereotype for my age group, living at home in your parents basement until you find a suitable job, and guess what? It sucks. Again, to be clear, I love my parents and they have a wonderful home, but this isn’t where I belong, eating their food and using their utilities.
The plan was to get everything ready and have interviews lined up for soon after I returned but this hasn’t panned out. I’m finding it much more difficult to find a job and am expanding my search. I’m going to have to suck it up and commute north to Alexandria, Arlington, McClean, Fairfax, D.C., etc.
Fran is getting adjusted to the house and slowly getting used to the other animals in the house, she’s not very happy though. She’s getting bored too, but who wouldn’t be if you were stuck in only two rooms for the whole day?
Everything else is going well too. I unfortunately don’t have any money to go do anything, but that’s not such a bad thing since I can’t really afford to be wasting time anyhow.
Oh well! Back to the job search, wish me luck!
