What up Virginia? How’s you doin’? Yes folks, I’m back home, in lovely northern Virginia. I want to say it’s great to be home, but it’s not. Now, don’t get me wrong, I like being back, but I’m not exactly in the best situation I could be in at the moment. I have unfortunately become the stereotype for my age group, living at home in your parents basement until you find a suitable job, and guess what? It sucks. Again, to be clear, I love my parents and they have a wonderful home, but this isn’t where I belong, eating their food and using their utilities. (more…)

John Gruber has a less gleeming assesment of Apple’s keynote yesterday at WWDC. He also mirror’s his assesment on episode 44 of MacBreak Weekly, which if you don’t listen to already and you like all things Apple, I suggest you listen to. Merlin Mann is quite the funny guy.
Gruber makes some excellent points and I was really surprised to find out that browser vendors make money from integration with search engines. Is that common knowledge? I mean, it makes perfect sense, I just had never thought about it before.

Guess what browser I’m using to write this post? Usually it’s FireFox, but not today. No, no, I’m definitely not using IE, not even 7. Yes, that’s right, I’m using Safari…on windows!! How cool is that?! It even has OSX’s form controls, check boxes, and scroll bars! (more…)

WOW! I’ve been pretty busy since the last time I posted. The site is now 90% complete by my standards. The remaining 10% is the comment system (which I may hold off on for a bit) and some tweaks to the CSS. Outside of that, don’t expect anything to change until the May 1st Reboot next year.
